Danville Youth Football Camp

PEP Fitness camp

This summer the Danville Schools will be offering two Pep Fitness Camps. Students will stay active while having fun by rotating through various activities such as sports, games, challenges, walking clubs, Zumba, nutrition talks, snacks and much more. Registration for the camps is now open. The fitness camps will take place at Millennium Park, June 1-4 and June 8-11 from 9 am to 12 pm each day. Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:00 and lunch from 12:00-12:30. The cost is FREE and transportation will be provided. You may sign up for one or both of the camps. Danville STEAM

Experience Danville will take place at Danville High School, June 15-18 from 9 am to 12 pm each day. Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:00 and lunch from 12:00-12:30. The cost is FREE and transportation will be provided. There will also be a Celebration of Learning on June 18 from 6:00-7:00 pm that is open to the public.  READ MORE...
10,000 Step Challenge

A while back students were sent home with a permission slip to obtain a pedometer to complete our 10,000 step challenge. Students & Staff are encouraged to try and complete 10,000 steps per day for 10 days! If the children reach 10,000 in a day, they need to show Miss Kogge or Mrs. Wells and they will put a footprint up on the cafeteria wall. Teachers and students can walk up to 10,00 steps for 10 days within one month! In May, all the footsteps will be put into a pot for a drawing. There will be prizes!!  READ MORE...
